After five years of giving this album a break I finally have respect for Richie Hawtin's DE9-Closer to the Edit. Respect goes out to the man that takes 300 loops from 100 tracks, makes his own loops, tosses them into a barrell and churns out a 31 track album.

I was just....

....ripping old cd's on the puter and I came across this Mellodrone promo I got back in 2002. It was all clear on half the cd and you can see the burnt part in the middle. Pretty neat. This album is AWESOME, so i decided to see if the website was still up. Apparently they will be in Saskatoon in a few weeks with She Wants Revenge and Ima Robot. They remind me of Idiot Pilot but less tweaky and more chug.

I am a 10-25, like to 10-27, sometimes 10-57, and definitely a 10-69!

I learned about a fire on 22nd st, a drunkard in the midst, and tomfoolery happening in Saskatoon on a Sunday night.
