So after a 5 hours ride to LAX and then a 1am, 13 hour flight to Taepei, and a 5 hour flight to Singapore, we are finally on our way To kolkata, India. Today we had about 8 hours to kill in Singapore so Jam and I decided to take a feww Shuttle tour downtown to roam around. Funny enough they dropped us off where I stayed last time so I had a big of bearings to work on. The shite thing is that the heat was UNBEARABLE. Its about 35 degress here and when we walked out both of us sweated like pigs. We even changed shirts half way through too becasue its so hot here. No Jet lag this time though which is nice but the heat killed me this afternoon. We didnt do too much, just walked around and shopped a bit. Man, clothing was so cheap here, we both blew like 150 bucks in about 2 hours. I had to tell Jam to hold the shopping till India though, that and we could only get so much into our carry on bags.....
I am pretty pumped for India again here, my tummy is kinda unsettled from the Dioxyclycline (anti malarial) but other than that its all good.
I had a MCRice patty thing at the Mc D's here, It was this chicken burger but the bun was made from squished Rice grains and it burned my tongue becasue it was piping hot. Imagine eating that in 35 degree weather... it wasnt too fun..
Anyhoo, more to come once we hit Kol.. I am picturing a lot of sleep this eve... 13 hour flights suck..
Oh yah... there was this giant Penis sculpture in the Taepei airport. 5am $ staring a at a giant Penis is rather amusing, even for me. Although oce Jam took the first pic of it, we started a chain of the rest of the people taking pics too.. so I didnt feel as..... dirty....
