McGaGa-Whut-The-F......

On the topic of McDonalds in other countries I found some pics from the ones in India. I especially like how they deliver their goods too.

If you look closley at the phone number its quite subliminal.... it really reads "BBOOO 666" eeek!

Also note on the non-veg menu is the "No Beef/No Pork" meat saucers. THAT scares me.

You will ride the McDeamon Parade when you eat the McAloo Tikki (that is convieniently delivered from hell [apparently})

McDelivery 24/7 or is that 25/8?

This is Singapore; probably one of the nicest cities I have ever been to. This place is immaculate. The pics say it all. Oh, and thats me at 5am in Taipei. I kid you not, I had the Chicken Fan-Tastic in the MC D's there. There is nothing better than a volcano hot rice pattty burger thingy in 40 degree piping humid weather. It was tasty though!

Old Village Man

This guy was in front of this pottery shop in a tiny village on the way to Chilka Lake in the state of Orissa. It's one of our favorites in the bunch and that might be how I end up looking some day!

Man, I love to cook...

I spent hours in the kitchen here and love every second of it....

Tonights menu was:

Green Curry Chicken/Veg w/ Coconut Milk
Chicken/Veg Dumplings
Mango/Papaya salad
Sake

Oi mamma.

As Durga Fights with her many hands....

Now that I have the India pics up, I will be posting the highlights (in no particular order) of some of the chaos & beauty that was forseen, that and some of the best photos we took too!

This is Goddess Durga during the Durga Puja festival. Idols like this were all over Kolkata. As stunning as they are, it;s a shame to think that after 10 days, they are tossed into the Ganges River.

My Other Child

So we survived India (for me again) with no battle scars except for my sun burnt & rashy feet. The computer connection sucked in Kolkata so I couldnt do any blog work. Once the pics are up I will post some links.

Here is my new baby. This is a Sarod, kinda sounds like an acoustic guitar but with natural reverb and 25 strings and all made of teak. The pick is made from ox horn as well (which I dont think was supposed to come over the border with me... meh.)
