Eighteen Visions
When i saw the new album in the shop today I was pretty stoked and snaged the promo home so I can take a listen to it. Upon further investigation, this abomination for an album is a complete waste of my time. Take a listen to the song 'Broken Hearted' and you'll know why. This album reminds me of a cross between Motley Crue, Velvet Revolver, and Bon Jovi. I dunno dudes, I am trying to give it a chance.
Maybe I'll reply back once I have heard this a few times. It could be a slow burner, not likley tho.

i remember reading an interview with the singer a few months back, and he said the new album will be far less aggressive than earlier stuff. true?
So very true. It has a real power ballad feel. What I really liked from their older stuff and even the last album, Obsession, that really turned me on was the good combo of screaming and thrash in conjunction with sweet melodic singing.
"Far less aggressive" is stretching it.... lol.
Damn it! I was afraid of that. They want to get away from the whole "metalcore" scene, and fair enough. But seriously, you guys aren't Guns N Roses. So don't try.
What's wrong with Bon Jovi???
